Complexity of Consciousness

Whats something most people don’t understand

There are many things that people may not fully understand, but one thing that stands out is the complexity of the human brain and the nature of consciousness.

Despite decades of research, we still do not fully understand how the brain works and how consciousness arises. While we have made significant progress in mapping the brain and understanding how different regions function, there is still much we don’t know.

For example, we don’t fully understand how thoughts and emotions are generated or how they are related to the physical processes in the brain. We also don’t know why some people have certain mental disorders or why some people are more resilient to stress than others.

Additionally, many people may not fully appreciate the vastness and complexity of the universe and the fact that we are just a small part of it. The universe is estimated to contain around 100 billion galaxies, each containing billions of stars, and we are just one of those stars orbiting one of those galaxies. It’s a humbling realization that can help us appreciate our place in the cosmos.

Impact of Ukraine-Russia war

The Ukraine-Russia war, also known as the Russo-Ukrainian War or the Donbass War, has had significant impacts on both Ukraine and Russia, as well as on the broader international community. Here are some of the main impacts of the war:

Humanitarian crisis: The war has caused a significant humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, particularly in the eastern Donbass region, where many civilians have been displaced from their homes, and essential services such as water, electricity, and medical care have been disrupted.

Political instability: The conflict has also led to political instability in Ukraine, with the government struggling to maintain control over the separatist regions of Donetsk and Luhansk. This instability has contributed to ongoing political tensions between Ukraine and Russia.

Economic impact: The war has had a significant impact on the economies of both Ukraine and Russia, with trade and investment disrupted, and the cost of the conflict placing a strain on both countries’ finances.

International relations: The conflict has also strained relations between Russia and many other countries, including the United States and European Union. The annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014, which preceded the outbreak of the war, led to international condemnation and economic sanctions against Russia.

Security implications: The war has raised concerns about regional security, with NATO and other Western countries increasing their military presence in Eastern Europe in response to the conflict. There are also concerns about the proliferation of weapons and the potential for the conflict to escalate.

In summary, the Ukraine-Russia war has had far-reaching impacts on both Ukraine and Russia, as well as on the international community as a whole. The conflict has caused a significant humanitarian crisis, political instability, and economic disruption, and has raised concerns about regional security and international relations

Likoni lifestyle,Kenya

Kenya, the land of peace and full of hustles among its native countrymen and women,Young and elderly, everyone is busy to achieve the best out of his/her sweat just to make the ends meet.

Some parts of the country have large numbers of well-off families and others have to struggle a lot in order to make something enter into their stomach and allow some into their pockets as their petty savings.

Likoni,is a village in Kitui, kenya.I grew there under strong worrying circumstances which some times despite being young,i could think of hanging myself.Thank God i persevered all that and He helped me cope up with the( life lesson) situations.

My father had a large (helpless) piece of land, which we used to graze our protruding boned cattle, which in the real sense had no benefits to our livelihood.

I joined primary school 8 years old, knowing in mind that education will be the only solution in my life and family in large.I proceeded with my education hardly till i finished by primary level at the age of 18yrs, was aged enough to have family(marry).

Having passed my exams well,i had to join a nearby secondary school but the poverty at that time became severe to an extent that i couldn’t join earlier enough as indicated on the admission later.I stayed at home for three months stressed. My mind was losing hopes of proceeding with education. My health started deteriorating but when i looked at my mother struggling to see me continue with education,i took heart and went to a nearby town and started looking for a job.

God is always great,i got a butcher job whereby i started preparing ‘mutura’ and some other external meat.My first salary was KSH 1200(9.8$) per month i.e Ksh 40(0.35$) per day. Being so little i had to work there while looking for alternatives.

While still working as a butcher,a customer came and ordered 1kg of meat and asked me to fry it nicely.I did the job as directed then i served my client and went back to sit on my uncomfortable sit thinking deeply on how to make it in life.Customer, while eating looked at me and asked me,”Young boy”, ‘Yes’, i replied,” You seem to be thinking too much, could there be any problem” ,’I have many things burning into my mind,so my trouble in my life as i grow,i finished my primary school but i failed to proceed with my secondary education due to lack of fees’ i opened up. He looked down while still quiet and said,”Next week i will be coming here and will respond to your cries,be still and my response could be possible”

Home of peace

Having grown under life full of poverty strikes,i would really wish to have a home endowed with peace and harmony.
Our house was very tiny and less of essentials inside.I Stanley, wish to update my lifestyle starting with my parents, then i later bring the best out of my savings.I should , hopefully be among the best house holder in the village.

By so doing, am sure God will bring peace in my family and everyone will live the modern life, happily.
